men on men art competition 2023

The Laird and DEANation are proud to announce the winners of the Men On Men Art Exhibition and Competition for 2026.

Once again, we are wrapped with the entries submitted, covering painting, digital illustration, multi-media/collage, drawing, photography, needle craft and ceramics.

It’s been another record year for sales, with just over 50% of works sold so far.

Artworks are on display until Sunday 30th June.

Thanks to sponsors Deans Art and Framed by You, as well as Damien and Gus, our amazing installation experts.

And a huge thanks to all the artists and buyers.

Here are our winners!

Grand Prize

“Reclining” Terry Griffin

This prize has been a part of MOM since its inception, with winners earning a place on the MOM statue since 2002.

Current winners receive a $500 Dean’s Art voucher, and an exhibition at The Laird in January the following year.

Judges are a select group of art-world experts, Laird management and associates as well as community leaders.

People’s Choice Prize

“The Worst of Me” David Jabbour (cropped)

This prize has been a part of MOM since 2012, when it was realised that the people didn’t always agree with the 4 judges!

Current winners receive a $250 Dean’s Art voucher and an exhibition at The Laird in January the following year.

Voting is only held on the MOM Open Day.

Steve Scalone Photography Prize

“Body Language Part II” Fred LeMarche

This prize was created in 2024 to honour outstanding photographic entries, in honour of Steve Scalone, a long time MOM contributor and winner (2012).

In 2026 the prize comes with a $350 Framed By You voucher, thanks to Roderick Sharpe.

Roderick is a Laird regular and long-time buyer of entries from MOM and other exhibitions held at The Laird.

And we thought we’d do a shout out to some of the more unusual entries for MOM this year…
